Kenya bureau of standards (KEBS) on September 29, in 2005 began to export standard conformance verification plan before the PRE - EXPORTVERIFICATIONOFCONFORMITY (PVoC).
Certificates obtained by applying for PVOC certification are also called certificates of conformity (referred to as COC certificates).
Products in the PVOC catalogue must obtain a Certificate of Compliance (COC) prior to shipment and be provided to Kenya Customs upon arrival, otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the country.
