From 1 February 2020, all products on the control list for export to Morocco must comply with Moroccan technical regulations and standards.
Depending on the category of the product, validation should be carried out in the country of export or destination of the corresponding product.
All controlled products must obtain a CoC certificate in order to clear customs and enter the Moroccan market.

ROUTE A

(1) Submit application materials

1.RFC(inspection address and time)

Packing list & invoice, goods to be exported (including but not limited to commodity name, customs code, FOB amount), details of the importer/exporter (name, address, import license number).
Importer Tax Code)

3. Test reports (e.g., third party test reports, analysis reports based on applicable standards)

4. Certificate of manufacturer such as IS09001 / ISOTS16949 IS013485 or other quality standard certificate.

(2) Audit materials

The Agency reviews the data received in accordance with Moroccan standards and regulations and, if necessary, performs additional laboratory tests and analyses on the samples

On-site inspection

Issue of COC certificate: Veritas bureau checks according to the documents provided, inspects the report, after obtaining satisfactory results, issues the safe electronic certificate of conformity.
Otherwise, a nonconformance report will be generated.
The exporter is advised not to ship the goods until the required certificate of conformity has been issued.

Verification of arrival: The importer deposits the electronic certificate of conformity with other import documents on the Moroccan Single Window System (Portnet). The documents will be verified and the COC will be certified as part of the customs clearance process.

 
ROUTE B & ROUTE C

Registration & Licensing

Application for product registration (route B) and product licensing (route C) are provided to traders who import/export to Morocco on a regular basis.
Documentation and systems to ensure compliance with Moroccan requirements

Will be pre-audited (including test report, inspection certificate, test results, inspection, factory audit, quality management system, etc.).
