IP test:

IP code is widely used to indicate the strength of waterproof and dustproof performance of electrical equipment. IP is the abbreviation of international protection. The IP code defined in 60529 will prevent foreign substances (including steel balls, copper wires, dust and water) from entering the protection of mechanical and electrical products.

IP level test:

Numbers of the IP code indicate the level of protection against solid objects:

 0. No special protection

1. Protect solid objects of 50 mm or larger, for example, accidental contact with hands

2. prevent 12.5mm or larger solid objects, such as fingers.

3. prevent 2.5mm or larger solid objects (tools and wires).

4. for 1 mm or larger solid objects (tools, wires and small wires) protection.

5. Prevent harmful dust from entering.

6. completely dustproof.
 
The second digit of the IP code:

0. No special protection.

1. Prevent water droplets from falling vertically.

2. and the shell vertical direction into a 15° Angle, water drops to the shell has no effect.
 
3. water or rain spray falls, and the vertical direction into a 60° Angle has no effect.

4. prevent from splashing water from all directions.

5. Protect the low-pressure water jet (12.5L/min) from all directions.

6. water (100 l/min) temporary immersion environment, such as dock deck.

7. Influence of placing 1m deep water for a short time.

8. Long time immersion under certain pressure (e.g., 1 hour in a water depth of 1.5 m) or spray hot water from multiple directions at a speed of 15 l/min (80°C) through a specified rotating nozzle for 30 seconds.

Ultraviolet aging test

Ultraviolet aging test is to simulate the broken effect of sunlight, through the radiation of fluorescent lamps to achieve.
The effect of moisture can also be simulated by condensation or spraying.
The effects of color change, aging, crack, wear and oxidation of the material were observed.

Salt spray test

It can be divided into two categories, one is natural environment exposure test, the other is artificial accelerated simulation of salt spray environment test.
Artificial simulation of salt spray environment test is the use of a test equipment with a certain volume space - salt spray test chamber, in its volume space with artificial method, create salt spray environment to test the quality of salt spray corrosion resistance of products.

Vibration test

A shock is a process in which a sudden release of energy is transmitted to another object. The duration of the shock is not periodic.
