Zanzibar Pre-shipment Compliance Assessment (PVOC) requirements are specified by the Zanzibar Island Standards Authority (ZBS).

Purpose of implementation:

Ensure that only products that meet the standards are imported into Zanzibar;

To protect the public from substandard products that may endanger public health, safety and the environment;

Protect local manufacturers from unfair competition from imports of substandard products;

Prevents the dumping of substandard goods into Zanzibar Island.

Zanzibar PVOC certification process:

The information provided by the customer includes invoice & packing list, product testing report, application form

Literature review

Arrange the inspection date after the data is approved

After passing the inspection, the customer will provide the final commercial invoice and packing list, and arrange the issuance of certificates
