Zimbabwe CBCA Certification

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Zimbabwe published the Cargo Certification Assessment Scheme (CBCA) on its official website on 23 March 2015.
Under the CBCA scheme, from 16 May 2015, all goods exported to Zimbabwe will be subject to product certification before they are shipped offshore.
CBCA certificate will be obtained after passing the certification. CBCA certificate will be presented when the goods arrive in Zimbabwe for customs clearance.
Those who do not have a CBCA certificate will be denied entry by Zimbabwean Customs.

The process for Zimbabwe CBCA certification is as follows

1. Provide packing list, invoice, test report and other materials;

2. Submit the application and arrange the inspection after the approval;

3. After passing the inspection, provide the final invoice and packing list, and arrange the draft of the importer's CR No;

4. Draft confirmation and original certificate.
